PBA: Ginebra’s Scottie Thompson, Justin Brownlee set for top individual awards anew
Barangay Ginebra is expected to win two individual awards to be presented before Game 4 of the 2022 PBA Commissioners Cup Finals on Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Two wins before claiming the mid-season crown, the Gin Kings are expected to get a boost ahead of the 5:45 p.m. competition with Scottie Thompson being prioritized for the Conference Player of the Year award and Justin Brownlee is expected to win Best Imported Plum.
Thompson is eyeing a second BPC of his career after another pivotal performance that helped Gin Kings reach the Finals, although teammate Jamie Malonzo could damage that bid following a similar display in the first conference. his fairy since being acquired from NorthPort Batang Pier.

Forty-five percent of the statistics will be used as criteria to determine the winner, with the remainder coming from votes from the media (30%) and players (25%).
