PBA 3×3: Cavitex claims Leg 4, beats Pioneer

MANILA, Philippines—Cavitex dominated Stage 4 of the PBA 3X3 Season Two Third Conference against Pioneer Elastoseal, 19-15, at Robinson’s Novaliches on Sunday.
The Braves took a slim 12–11 lead before ending the game 6–1.
Dominick Fajardo’s effective shooting added strength to Cavitex as he finished with 11 points, beating eight of his nine attempts on the field.
The Braves win was coach Kyles Lao’s first 3X3 PBA championship.
Cavitex pocketed P100,000 pesos while Pioneer and TNT took home P50,000 and P30,000 respectively.
Reggie Morido was Pioneer’s top scorer in the loss with six points.
In the third place match, TNT beat Platinum Karaoke, 20-18, behind Samboy de Leon.
De Leon stepped up with his unusual Almond Vosotros and finished with six points.
Ping Exciminiano and former standout Oriental University player Luis Villegas both finished with five points in victory at Tropang Giga.
