Actor Paul Geoffrey, who starred in the 1981 film Excalibur and the TV series Better Call Saul, has died of cancer at the age of 68.
Geoffrey also starred in Anna Karenina’s 1995 film adaptation, Wuthering Heights, Poirot and Inspector Morse.
He played Perceval, King Arthur’s ally in the medieval fantasy film Excalibur, alongside Helen Mirren, Patrick Stewart and Liam Neeson.

He played a tailor in Better Call Sall in 2015, and was seen wearing a suit for Jimmy McGill’s character, played by Bob Odenkirk.
The actor’s last reported role was in an episode of the Epix series Perpetual Grace in 2019.
Geoffrey died of cancer on June 3, leaving behind his wife, Sue, and three children Alex, Olive and Daisy.
He moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico in the 1990s “where he and his wife created a world of love and care for their young family”.
Geoffrey worked at a real estate agency in the city for several years.

His obituary, posted on a US memorial, said he “loved French food and wine, had a deep understanding of history, was a lifelong Arsenal fan and excelled.” to be the sweetest guy in the world.”
“He established himself as a genuine and kind community member. At his core as a lead actor, Paul continued to act for the rest of his life,” his obituary reads.
