Explore the dark, twisted realm of Wraeclast upon Path of Exile 2 Early Access launches today on PS5. A redefined combat system
Command legions of the dead from afar, either using hammers, bows, or full-blown artillery. Six layers stand before you, each a gateway to untold carnage:
- Monk: Fast and deadly, a blur of movement that left nothing but torn bodies.
- Witch: A master of destruction, creating spells that tear apart enemies and scorched the earth.
- Combatant: A barbaric force, wielding deadly weapons with brutal efficiency, tearing apart their enemies with raw power.
- Ranger: Silent, agile and deadly, a shadow hunter strikes with deadly precision.
- Mercenaries: Crossbow in hand, ready to destroy from afar, an unrelenting force of calculated destruction.
- Witch: A dark sorceress commands the minions of the abyss, bending them to her will as they tear apart all that stands in their way.
With the new Uncut Gems, your power is unlimited. Unlock countless skills, mix and match support Gems to transform your abilities – making them faster, deadlier and more destructive, depending on your play style.
Epic boss battle
Every step will lead you closer to indescribable horror. The Iron Earl will test your resolve with a series of vicious attacks. And beware of Zicoatl, Guardian of the Core, whose writhing snake head is filled with malice, ready to strike down anyone who dares challenge it.
And if you think you’ve mastered it all, completing Acts 1 to 3 will unlock Cruel Difficulty for the finale, requiring you to complete the entire campaign again. Expect a whole new level with more brutal challenges but better rewards for those who can survive the carnage.
In-depth endgame system
Seven distinct endgame systems await. Players can also access special passive trees that increase your map’s rewards and change how various mechanics work in the final game. To become stronger, complete the Ascension Trials. The Sekhemas Challenge will challenge your limits and bring unimaginable power to promote character development. The Trial of the God of Chaos is another Ascension but requires a token from an unknown entity. As you enter each room of the Test, the stakes are high. The same goes for the downsides as it becomes more dangerous than the last time.
