March Madness is one of the few events that truly connects the past with the present and the future. As each new league begins, each team feels the authenticity of a good season but also has a vision of making a huge statement in prom.
We missed all of that last year. The 2020 tournament was canceled just before it was set to take place. No people beat the buzzer, disorder or watch the marathon. The 2021 tournament will be a little different, but it’s back and will have new memories to make and a newly crowned champion.
Still, old moments continue to come alive, whether it’s the national championship games that ended with whistle-blowers or the upsets that have spanned the nation. These games not only evoke memories that seem to live on forever, but they also shape the way we look at the NCAA Tournament.
