Paramount’s Yellowstone beats House Of The Dragon in season 5 premiere ratings

Paramount Network’s Yellowstone premiered its fifth season this week and enjoyed high ratings – better than Yellowstone Season 4 and better than HBO’s Game of Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon, Diversity report.

Yellowstone Season 5 premieres Sunday on Paramount Network, CMT, TV Land and Pop; These networks have also done this for previous seasons, Variety noted. On its main platform, Paramount Network, Yellowstone Season 5 amassed 8.8 million users, up from 8 million for the season 4 premiere. However, across all four networks, that number climbs to 10 .3 million, which seems to indicate that all of the show’s development took place on the Paramount Network. Encore broadcast increased that number to 12.1 million viewers.

Compared to HBO’s House of the Dragon, which airs on HBO and HBO Max, this is particularly impressive. HBO’s Game of Thrones spin-off attracted 9.99 million viewers on both services when it premieres in August. House of the Dragon episodes averaged nearly 30 million VND when it comes to users watching at the end of the season, let’s air on HBO and the like. No data yet on how Yellowstone compares to that number.

Yellowstone tells the story of the Dutton family and their massive Yellowstone Dutton ranch in Montana. In season 5 premiere, John Dutton (Kevin Costner) is now governor of Montana, changing the size of power in the Dutton family and ranch.
