Paramore reveals the reason for their 5 year hiatus – Hollywood Life

Paramore was one of the top bands in the world, and then they decided to step out of the limelight. After the 2017 release After laughter, the band took a 5 year break. Now they’re back with a brand new album, This is whywill be released in 2023.

The real hiatus began after the death of one of the guitarists Taylor York’s family friends. “We realized that nothing was worth risking our health,” he said Guardians. The band decided what it would be like to “not hang our identities on Paramore all the time.”
During Paramore’s break, the main vocal Hayley williams made two solo albums. Drummer Zac Farro also released new music. Taylor decided to quit drinking. “I wanted to explore some deeper parts of myself and find out why we did this, how it happened,” Taylor revealed. “I am a very introverted person and I have a passion and a career that is the opposite of that. When it’s back to work [Paramore] again, I was able to say confidently, let’s do it. Zac and Hayley both need to know that I want to do this.”
When the band reunited in Nashville to begin work on their new album, they spoke openly about “living in the South during a global pandemic, a time of racial injustice, and a social movement.” larger than ever in America,” says Hayley. “We feel it’s really important to be home when there’s so much crazy stuff going on.”

In an interview with Apple Music, Zac was candid about letting go of Paramore during the band’s hiatus. “I feel like each of us has to go through our own journey of letting go and choosing… I mean, it’s a job at the end of the day, but it’s the best job you can have. possible in this world. But you have to choose to get up, put on your suit and do it well,” he said. “And so I think everyone has their own way of handling what they need and doing the best they can for the job.
