While lingerie is plentiful and plentiful, finding the perfect pair without going to the store to browse through a pile of panties that aren’t the right size or style is something almost everyone wants. That might be why the new lingerie brand ParadeWith a stunning array of colors like rainbow colors, textures like mesh polka dots and styles like uber-comfortable briefs and men’s shirts, has become such a hit.
Super soft, easy to touch and designed to never dig, Parade briefs can be your new everyday wear.
Since its launch in October, the direct-to-consumer brand says it has sold over 150,000 pairs of lingerie and attracted more than 70,000 customers, probably in no small part due to the ads you’ve seen. . Instagram announced a mission to create underwear for people of all shapes and sizes. While some mass market brands only run up to size XL, Parade offers up to 3XL. Parade also favors using models of different sizes in its campaigns, so you can see how the panties will look on different bodies.
Founder Cami Tellez explained the mission, saying: “I grew up going to the mall, seeing supermodels splashing on massive storefronts and thinking: This is what it means to be back. become a woman. Brands have already written cultural scripts, and I’m glad we’re launching Parade at a time when culture no longer encompasses this one-note sexy idea. ”
When I chose my first pair, it was clear that size and fit were what Parade was looking for. I followed the sizing chart exactly and ordered a medium, and they fit perfectly, sticking to where they were supposed to be, but not so tight that they created bulges or weird lines. Two colleagues who also tried on underwear in sizes S and XL agree that they fit perfectly as well.
Underwear is made with a core fabric made from 85% recycled polyamide and all of its materials are Oeko-Tex Certification, which means they don’t contain chemicals that could harm the planet. Parade also donates 1% of its profits to Planned Parenthood.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from the fabric, as breathability is a priority for me and I generally prefer cotton underwear. And polyamide (that’s nylon) doesn’t really seem like it would allow my female parts to feel free and fresh.
But I was amazed at the movement of the fabric when I did a cardio sculpting class – yes, I tried these undergarments for the real test! – and how I didn’t feel completely disgusted afterwards. The briefs clip in place and don’t get in the way when I’m touching my toes, which is great for a $9 pair of panties.
The parade is also priced to start at wallet-friendly $9 per pair, and are available in a variety of bright, fun designs and colors. This is one of my favorites.
These panties are super light and breathable. The cute mesh starts at the front and eats into the back mantle, not visible under the clothes. They come in nine colors (two are limited editions for spring) and don’t have a hemline under the leggings.
If you like the high-rise look, it is available as a bold high-rise ($14-$16; yourparade.com) in its signature soft mesh with fun prints like checkers and polka dots.
Also lightweight and breathable, this brief is not basic. It’s basically the perfect everyday panty, with cute mesh detailing and full back coverage.
Not everyone is a fan of panties, but these panties are definitely easier to forget you’re wearing than other pants. Available in over 10 colors (again, some are limited editions), the mesh on the front offers a sexy detail.
The brand also has a premium thong ($12; yourparade.com) sits higher on your belly and would be ideal to wear with high-waisted jeans. Or try a turtleneck thong ($14; yourparade.com) in soft mesh for a more glamorous look.
It’s the perfect undergarment under jeans or yoga pants, with full coverage in the back and front, and breathable mesh on the side. You won’t want to take these off. Think of this as a perfect nap and lounging panties.
