NEW DELHI: Pakistan Super League will clash with the mighty Indian Premier League in the summer of 2025 due to Pakistan having a crowded home season which saw them host the ICC Championships.
The IPLThe two-and-a-half month period begins in March and runs until early June.
However, Pakistan Cricket Board was forced to push back the 10th season of the T20 tournament from its usual January-February window to mid-March and May as the nation prepares to host the Champions Trophy in February 2025.

This will be the first time the T20 League has faced off against the cash-rich IPL. It will be interesting to see the players, hard at work trading in both leagues, choose which league.

However, that changed in the latest cycle, when Pakistan played 13 Tests, 26 ODIs and 27 T20I at home in addition to the Champions Trophy, resulting in a packed schedule.
“While finalizing our 2023-2027 Future Tour Program within a tight and dense cricket calendar, we have prioritized context, quality and player workload,” PCB Managing director Faisal Hasnain said in a statement.
