OxygenOS 15 leak reveals iOS-like features, customization options, and hidden ‘Never Settle’ easter egg
With the release of the Android 15 source code, device manufacturers are gearing up for their custom versions of the new operating system. OnePlus is one of the companies that is gearing up for a new version, OxygenOS 15. Currently in beta testing, OxygenOS 15 is expected to introduce a number of major updates.

Control Center: The revamped Control Center in OxygenOS 15 will have a new layout. While the interface is still somewhat similar to OxygenOS 14, the arrangement has undergone significant changes, resembling the design of iOS and HyperOS. The top will have two toggles, similar to HyperOS, with a 2×2 media player, a 1×2 brightness slider, and a 1×2 volume control panel below. Additional quick settings will have a 1×1 toggle. Users can modify the layout to their liking and choose to show or hide text labels. Swiping down from the right will reveal the control center, and the notification shade on the left will show notifications. Users who prefer the previous control center style can switch back to the OxygenOS 14 layout.

New customizations for Photos and Lock Screen
Volume control panel: The volume control will have a dynamic slider. The slider will start out large, then shrink as you interact, similar to iOS.
Live photo: The camera app will now support Live Photos, which lets users shoot short videos alongside their still images. The feature is designed to capture dynamic scenes with movement.
Customize lock screen: OxygenOS 15 will have improved lock screen customization options. Users will be able to adjust the clock size, position, color, and font. Additionally, a new depth effect will allow for 3D lock screens. Various lock screen presets will be available for users to choose from.

Dynamic notification like an island: A new notification feature similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island will be introduced. Located above the center punch-hole, it will provide interactive notifications.
Easter Eggs: OxygenOS 15 will include an Easter egg with the “Never Settle” logo. By typing “1+” into the calculator and pressing the equals sign, users will see the “Never Settle” pop-up.
The beta version of OxygenOS 15 is expected to launch later this month or early next month, and will be limited to certain models only.
