New CCTV footage showing the last known images of missing student nurse Owami Davies has been released by the Metropolitan Police.
Footage, taken around 12:30am on Thursday 7th July, shows Ms Davies wearing a dark coat, red t-shirt, light gray jogging pants, slip-on shoes and carrying a handbag white on the shoulder.
The 24-year-old can be seen walking north on London Road, Croydon, away from West Croydon.
Detective Chief Inspector Nigel Penney, who is leading the investigation, said: “This latest CCTV shows Owami wearing a distinctive red shirt and heading towards the Norbury area.
“I would ask members of the public who are in this area, or nearby roads, to think back and call us if they remember meeting Owami and please don’t underestimate the importance of this life. your call.”
Miss Davies had left her family home in Grays, Essex, on July 4, three days before her disappearance.
Her mother, Nicol Davies, called for information about her whereabouts last week.
She said: “I sit here like a desperate mother at the mercy of anyone who knows or hears something to help me find my baby, that’s all I asked, just help to find my baby. see the baby.”
Five people have been arrested for her disappearance, on suspicion of murder or kidnapping.
All have been released on bail.
