The leaked footage mainly features a lot of characters running around in low-variety environments and some brief scenes of the fight against its familiar mechanical foe. What’s most interesting are the “join PS4” and “join PC” options, which potentially hint at cross-platform play and simultaneous PC release.
However, there are still some question marks surrounding this footage. When it was first posted, it was labeled as “Horizon Forbidden West has leaked alpha multiplayer” – Forbidden West is the currently PlayStation-only sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn. The latter received a PC port a few years ago, but we’re still waiting for Sony to bring the former, questioning those “join PC” settings.
However, it is also possible that this leaked video is related to Confirmed guerilla online projectis said to have “new cast of characters and unique stylized looks”, according to their announcement tweet from December of last year. However, the guerrillas are still recruiting for that particular project, so until they have something more to say about that project, your guess is as good as ours.
