Over 12 minutes of Horizon multiplayer game footage soon leaked online

The footage is believed to be from Forbidden HorizonMultiplayer alpha has arrived online. The leak surfaced on reddit over the weekend claims to be from a “very old alpha” build from summer 2020. This is an interesting watch, as while the world and the robotic dinosaurs look like the classic Horizon, the characters jumping around fighting them look a lot more stylized than their super. -Details of mainline partners.
The leaked footage mainly features a lot of characters running around in low-variety environments and some brief scenes of the fight against its familiar mechanical foe. What’s most interesting are the “join PS4” and “join PC” options, which potentially hint at cross-platform play and simultaneous PC release.
However, there are still some question marks surrounding this footage. When it was first posted, it was labeled as “Horizon Forbidden West has leaked alpha multiplayer” – Forbidden West is the currently PlayStation-only sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn. The latter received a PC port a few years ago, but we’re still waiting for Sony to bring the former, questioning those “join PC” settings.
However, it is also possible that this leaked video is related to Confirmed guerilla online projectis said to have “new cast of characters and unique stylized looks”, according to their announcement tweet from December of last year. However, the guerrillas are still recruiting for that particular project, so until they have something more to say about that project, your guess is as good as ours. However, combining Monster Hunter style with some sweet Thunderjaw sounds like a ride I’d be willing to take.
Horizon seems to be expanding rapidly. The aforementioned Online Project is currently being developed internally at Guerrilla alongside another single-player Horizon game, but other developers are also working on more External Projects. Chief among them are rumors Horizon MMORPG, from publisher Guild Wars NCsoft. Customizable robot mount, anyone?
If you want to hunt robot dinosaurs alone, Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition is now available on PC via Steamthe Epic Games Store, and GOG for £40/€50/$50.
