Original ‘Pokémon Snap’ Coming to Switch Online on June 24

Would you rather play the original Pokémon Snap than modern version? You won’t have to drag your Nintendo 64 out of the closet to do it. Nintendo is liberate, release, free N64 game on June 24th for registered gamers Convert online with Extension Packs. It’s still the (sometimes literal) creature safari shot you remember, complete with fruit tossing to lure or stun a Pokémon in the name of a perfect snapshot.

There is no mention of any Switch-specific improvements. The Wii version of Virtual Console lets you post pictures of creatures to your message board, but that’s not entirely necessary as the Switch allows you to take screenshots to post to Facebook or Twitter.

Pokémon Snap probably won’t convince you to get the Expansion Pack yourself. Along with classics like Paper Mario and Kirby 64, however, the pattern is clear. Nintendo is still busy replenishing Switch Online’s extensive library with some of the more popular games from the N64 era, and they’re not shy about adding similar clone titles today.
