OnePlus shares OxygenOS 13 trailer

Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus shared a short trailer for the upcoming OxygenOS 13 on its Twitter handle. The text accompanying the trailer reads: “It’s bold, it’s slick, it’s coming soon.” The trailer gives you a glimpse of possible changes to the lock screen and the always-on display. User interface, with the following shown supporting a music player. There are media controls introduced and also the cover art of the song being played. We can also expect improvements to the user interface, with more personalization options.
You may also see the Canvas AOD feature available with older models. Perhaps OnePlus will add more color options for more variety. Finally, there’s Insight AOD that shows date, time, phone usage, etc.

The company held an online open discussion with 16 participants in its fan base a few months ago, where it wanted to know the participants’ views and expectations regarding OxygenOS 13. The company has previously said that the next iteration of OxygenOS will offer a fast and smooth user experience with some exclusive customization features and it will be based on Android 13.
OxygenOS 13 will come to OnePlus 10T on August 3. Furthermore, OnePlus confirmed that it will hold a live event in New York for the first time since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
OnePlus has followed the trend of releasing two flagships per year since the OnePlus 3T. However, it was not released last year. The second flagship of the year comes with minor upgrades and this year’s OnePlus 10T is confirmed to come with a newer version Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ 1st Generation Chipset.
