OnePlus unveiled a new smartphone in its numbered series – OnePlus 10T. This smartphone is billed as the company’s next major flagship with the brand new 1st generation Snapdragon 8+ chipset. However, it is not the only Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 smartphone in the Indian market.
Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo also recently brought a new smartphone to India – iQoo 9T – powered by Qualcomm’s latest and best 1st generation Snapdragon 8+ chipset. Two smartphones – OnePlus 10T and iQoo 9T – promise to deliver premium experiences. But which one is the best? Let us compare the OnePlus 10T and iQoo 9T to find out.
OnePlus 10T and iQoo 9T: Screen
The OnePlus 10T has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which can drop to as low as 1Hz. The IQoo 9T also has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, unlike the dynamic refresh rate on the OnePlus 10T, the refresh rate on the iQoo 9T remains at 60Hz or 120Hz. The AMOLED panel on both smartphones is a 10-bit panel and supports HDR10+ playback.

The OnePlus 10T and iQoo 9T come with the 1st Gen Snapdragon 8+ chipset. The OnePlus 10T also comes in a 16GB RAM variant (LPDDR5), while the iQoo 9T tops out with 12GB RAM (LPDDR5). Both smartphones have up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.
Furthermore, the two smartphones both run Android 12, but the iQoo 9T comes with FunTouch OS 12, while the OnePlus 10T has OxygenOS 12.
OnePlus 10T is the first smartphone of this brand to support 150W fast charging. Meanwhile, iQoo 9T supports 120W fast charging. The OnePlus 10T boasts a 4800mAH battery and the iQoo 9T has a 4700mAH battery.

The OnePlus 10T and iQoo 9T have a triple-camera setup led by a 50MP sensor. However, both have different sets of secondary cameras. The OnePlus 10T has a 16MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. Please note that OnePlus 10T does not come with any Hasselblad confidence. Meanwhile, the iQoo 9T comes with a 13MP ultra-wide sensor and a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom. On the front, both smartphones have a 16MP sensor for selfies.
