ONE X stars show off at open workout ahead of fight night

SINGAPORE – Fans got a glimpse of the stars in action on the ONE X card title during a public practice session right next to the event venue Saturday.

ONE female atomweight champion Angela Lee and challenger Stamp Fairtex along with co-main event stars Demetrious Johnson and Rodtang broke a sweat in front of some fans at OCBC Square on Thursday.

Lee, who has been out of action for two years and hasn’t experienced combat in a controlled environment due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is happy for her. back to ONE Circle with fans in the stands just as she remembers it.

“Just getting back to the wheel of things, this is how I remember it and it feels great. I love energy,” says Lee. “This fight is huge, in an event like this it’s crazy to give a card like this.”

“There’s a lot of pressure, there’s a lot of threats but I love that. I like it when the stakes are highest, I feel like I give my best.”

Stamp, the beloved Thai singer, even showed a glimpse of her fan-favorite “Stamp Dance” and she vowed to perform it again last Saturday. when the match was expected to be a hot one with Lee.

Other athletes who have shown a bit of their training routine are Adriano Moraes and Yuka Wakamatsu, who are going head-to-head in the flyweight title match, along with Nong-O Gaiyanghadao and Felipe Lobo, who are clashing. each other in the Muay Thai bantamweight world championship.

Moraes, who last year made one amazed at Johnson–Who is considered by many to be one of the best mixed martial artists ever – by knockout, is looking forward to putting on another show, especially with the return of crowd.

“Last year we [broke] Internet and it’s amazing and I can’t wait to do the show of a lifetime again,” Moraes said.
