One person was killed and six others injured after an explosion near a major airport in Pakistan, officials said.
The explosion occurred near Jinnah International Airport in Karachi on Sunday night.
According to reports, it was heard in various areas around the city and damaged nearby cars.
The cause of the explosion is yet to be determined however Sindh Interior Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Linjar was reported by GEO News as saying it is suspected to be an improvised explosive device (IED) attack ).
