But for all that Rivera has done on the field against the Flying Titans, her point is that Power Chargers benefited the most. She is such a sure thing that at the Filoil EcoOil Arena on Thursday there were instances where teammates screamed in celebration even as she was still rising to kill.
Less certain is the challenge system, built around 23 high-definition cameras, used for the first time in the ordinary matters of a complex setup.
“It was good, it was the first day,” said de Brito. “Everybody makes mistakes, I don’t judge but in the next opportunity, of course it will be much better. [T]he challenged there [is] just to try to minimize [wrong calls]. But I’m sure, it’s the best.
“You have to keep this and they will get better game by game. Of course, they have to keep this forever.”
Akari definitely wants to keep Rivera around forever — or at least while the team takes it seriously in the tournament.
“We are always trying to see how to get to the top. In the next two games we also have a chance to stay in the Top 4,” said de Brito. “Thinking now is let’s do our best because we know we can beat [the other teams]all of them if [we] consistent play… Even if [we] If they don’t win, they’ll have a hard time with us. “
