Week 28 of the 2022 NTRA Top Thoroughbred Poll and the NTRA Top Thoroughbred Poll conducted by the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA), including racing performances through the day September 5. Voting is done by the national media.
The Top Thoroughbred poll represents horses competing for the Horse of the Year award. The most thorough polling ends on Tuesday, November 8 after the Breeders’ World Championship.
Poll rankings are based on 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-1 with top votes in parentheses, 2022 record and total score. AS: Age-Gender, Gender: C-colt, G-gelding, H-horse, F-filly, M-mare, R-ridgling.
