Everyone needs a good coat in autumn wardrobe. Admittedly, I just bought one after borrowing it and not returning it to my mom years ago (for the record, I’m not proud of that). But I’m happy to announce that I recently purchased Old Navy waterproof lace-up jacket ($85), and everything I wanted: classy, timeless, and versatile. What I like about this jacket
I took this groove in my usual medium size, choosing an ivory color called “Wish Bone.” As soon as I put it on, I knew it was a goalkeeper. For starters, I fell in love with the length, it hits just below my knees. And there’s no shortage of stylish details, from the turtle shell and button-down caps to the buttoned cuffs and storm flap at the back.
I’m also a big fan of the doc. Although it’s too hot where I live to wear it outside, I’m confident that its smooth texture is sturdy enough to keep its shape in the wind yet soft enough to feel comfortable even after hours of wear. It’s also water-resistant, making it ideal for days when the weather seems nasty.
The first thing that’s noticeable about this trench coat is that it’s a bit oversized, which I like because it means it won’t feel tight. autumn sweater – and IMO, it also makes it look more trendy. But some shoppers intentionally increase the size to achieve a snug fit and find that they are “swimming in it”. Lesson learned: order your regular size for a slightly better fit and downsize for a better fit.
Another thing worth evaluating is that this trench coat is really light and was born to be a thin outer layer. For that reason, it’s a great transition when the temperatures start to get chilly, and it will also help keep you from overheating when wearing layers of warm sweaters. However, some reviewers “wish the material had weight to it.”
