Old Navy Jeans | Editor’s Review

It’s hard to believe that my wardrobe is full of skinny jeans. Looking back, it’s a pity that I didn’t have comprehensive denim collection, but I’m working overtime to make up for these days. Appreciate my new appreciation for wide leg styles, especially the Old Navy ones. Just a few weeks ago, I wrote a lot of poems about Old Navy Sky Hi Ripped high-waisted jeansbut now I’ve added another awesome pair to my (growing) collection: Sky-Hi ultra-high-waisted wide-leg jeans ($45), overlooking the runway.

When I scroll through them in the section of the brand New arrivals part, I’ve done it twice. The silhouettes feature subtle forward-curving and fading seams, making them look classic – and quadruple the price. They stand out in that they’re different from the style I’m used to seeing at Old Navy, a little more on-trend than I expected. Naturally, I added them to my virtual cart within minutes and tore them out of the packaging when they arrived a few days later. Dramatic? Yes. Exactly? Also have.

Judgment? Obsession is an understatement. I love the thought of pairing these wide leg jeans with crop-top shirt or bodysuit and sneakers this spring. They are *extremely* high waisted, which I am a big fan of. And I know I said it once, but I’ll say it again: forward-facing seams are everything. It’s a detail that enhances the awesome factor of any outfit in an instant, with practically no effort. My only complaint is that I should have bought a smaller size, so pleaseAll, don’t sell these before I have a chance to trade them in!
