Old Navy Jean Short Overalls I Editor Review
A few weeks back, I’ve seen Blake Lively post a photo her in denim overalls, so of course, I had to buy overalls. In her Instagram photo, the actress looks flawless (no surprises there), with a curvaceous style that is basically the epitome of chic farm girl. She upped the look with some colorful jewelry, a Chanel handbag, heels, and a hand to convince me to invest in a pair… the sooner the better.
So without hesitation, I turned to Old Navy, has basically become my go-to brand. I know I want a short style instead of a long pair because summer is just around the corner (and I plan on ditching the tree altogether). So when I scroll through Laundered straight work protective clothing Jeans shorts with no stretch ($40, originally $45), I knew I had met my match.
That has certainly helped these overalls come close to achieving the perfect five-star rating and a slew of rave reviews that prove how cute and comfortable they are. I was a little wary of the stretchy design, but that fear was quickly quelled when I tried it on. Their slightly baggy side ensures that the stiff fabric doesn’t cause discomfort. The result is an effortless lifestyle that feels like it could be a failure.
Honestly, I’m not obsessed with overalls (not yet) but I definitely like them (especially after seeing how great Lively looks in them). I love and cherish which you can customize them to match your vibe. Here, I will obviously be looking for a casual look with basic sports bra below, but in the case of Lively, you can also make them look eye-catching – say, with branded handbags or a pair of high heels.
This is definitely just the beginning of my relationship with these overalls, and I look forward to wearing them as a lightweight t-shirt fit this spring and summer. Hear me out: If you’ve seen that photo of Lively too and think you should add a few pieces to your wardrobe, this is the perfect pair to easily keep up with trends.
