Nvidia RTX 4050 laptop GPU leak suggests it could be here sooner than you think
Nvidia’s RTX 4050 Laptop graphics card apparently domestic, or at least what appears to be mobile GPUs have been unearthed on Twitter.
Like Tom’s Hardware (opens in a new tab) spotted, the RTX 4050 was seen in the benchmarks as posted by Benchleaks on Twitter.

The PugetBench results for the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro laptop are listed as running an Intel Core i7-13700H CPU along with an RTX 4050 laptop GPU (plus 16GB of system RAM).
As always, we shouldn’t get caught up in any online leaks, so proceed with appropriate caution on skepticism – but it’s still a potentially interesting look. about the more affordable Lovelace laptop GPU.
What results does the RTX 4050 laptop GPU achieve? That would be an overall score of 1,124 with 57.4 GPU points in PugetBench with Premiere Pro 22.6.2 and compared to 1,009 points and 48.9 GPU points for the Dell XPS 15 model with Core i7-12700H processor and machine graphics laptop RTX 3050 Card.
Analysis: RTX 4050 Coming Soon?
In terms of performance, then, we’re theoretically looking at the RTX 4050 GPU being 18% (or more) faster than the RTX 3050, but of course, that applies spice to any leaked benchmarks and keep in mind that the RTX 4050 is likely (well, it will) perform better than this when the graphics card is actually available in the laptop (with release drivers).
While trying to draw conclusions about speed is just a tentative job at this point, what’s really interesting here is that the RTX 4050 is absolutely here to stay. So far, we’ve only seen popular products from Nvidia’s next-generation Lovelace lineup – and desktop cards – but all of a sudden yesterday we witnessed a hot RTX 4060 leaks and now the RTX 4050 has increased in price.
Now, by all accounts, desktop RTX4060 there is still a long way to go – probably more than half a year – but with the actual seeing of this RTX 4050 (assuming it’s genuine) inside the test laptop, we can expect that this particular Lovelace GPU won’t be too far off.
Indeed, we can doubt that this is a sign Nvidia is ready to reveal the RTX 4050, and possibly other next-gen laptop GPUs, at CES 2023 in January. After all, it’s logical. In theory, we should see Intel Raptor Lake mobile processors soon, and pairing with RTX 40 Series laptop GPUs should produce some incredibly powerful performance. gaming laptop – It’s a are definitely future models to watch, as we have pointed out before.
