Nothing TWS In-Ear Headphones Rendered Leaked, Possible Semi-Transparent Design: Report

Images of the Nothing Ear 2 truly wireless stereo (TWS) headphones have been leaked online, days before the launch of the company’s Nothing Stick TWS headphones. Nothing, led by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, is said to be gearing up to launch a new pair of earphones, supposedly to succeed the Nothing Ear 1 that was launched last year. Renders of the as-yet-unpublished True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Nothing Ear 2 have surfaced online, showing off their design and some specs. The renders suggest a semi-transparent design for the purposeful TWS earbuds. They are displayed to highlight the text “ears (2)” on the headset in place of the Nothing icon, according to one report.

Popular tip Kuba Wojciechowski (@Za_Raczke) collaborates with 91Mobiles, leaked refers to the purpose of the Nothing Ear 2 TWS headset. The leaked images show a design similar to Nothing Tai 1 with a semi-transparent box for the earphone case and body. The renderings show the “Ear (2)” branding on the body instead of the Nothing logo. The inside of the earphones is seen with the white coating found on the Nothing Ear 1. The charging case is also partially transparent.

It’s worth noting that the UK-based brand has yet to reveal its plans to unveil the Nothing Ear 2 earbuds.

Meanwhile, the Nothing Ear Stick true wireless earbuds are set up to launched on October 26 as the second audio product from Nothing, following the worldwide launch of the Ear 1 true wireless earbuds last year.

Currently nothing Tai 1 listed on Flipkart for Rs. 7,299 in India. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) headphones feature a semi-transparent design and feature 11.6mm dynamic drivers. These include Bluetooth v5.2 for connectivity and support both SBC and AAC codecs. There is also support for both wired and wireless charging.

The Nothing Ear 1 TWS earbuds also have an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance. The earbuds have active noise cancellation (ANC) support along with a dedicated transparency mode. Nothing Ear 1 features touch controls to enable quick control over playback, noise cancellation, transparency mode, and volume. Furthermore, the earbuds are rated to provide up to 34 hours of total battery life – including the charging case.
