Nothing Phone 1 Camera specs, officially introduced models, new renders leaked


Nothing Phone 1’s specs and camera model have been officially revealed ahead of its July 12 launch. Meanwhile, new high-quality renders of the phone have also surfaced online. Phone 1 will come with a dual camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor. The leaked renders show the color and design variants of the upcoming smartphone from Nothing. The phone is said to be a mid-range product that can cost around Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000. Phone 1 was recently reported to have an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone has also been confirmed to have no charger.

Official specifications and models of Nothing Phone 1 camera settings was shared company through a blog post. As mentioned earlier, the Phone 1 will have a dual camera setup. The handset will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor size and f/1.88 aperture along with an ultra-wide-angle camera with a 114° field of view. The phone also supports optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS). Phone 1 will be capable of 10-bit color video recording and can ‘capture a billion colors’, according to the company.

The official render of Nothing Phone 1 is also leaked by trusted tipper Evan Blass on Twitter. The render shows the Black and White color options for the smartphone. The renders also indicate that the phone from Nothing will have a metal frame. The Nothing Phone 1’s power button is said to be on the right edge while the left side will be home to the volume rockers.

To recall, Nothing Phone 1 is set for global launch on July 12th and the handset can be had for around Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 in India. Earlier reports have also reported an under-display fingerprint sensor, which is now believed to be ultrasound one. The phone is also said to have no charger.

Nothing Phone 1 price

Nothing phone 1 is expected costs somewhere between Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000. The base variant 8GB RAM + 128GB storage is said to be priced at EUR 469.99 (about Rs 38,000) and the top-end 12GB RAM + 256GB variant can be had for EUR 549.99 (around Rs 44,000). Finally, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage can cost 499.99 EUR (about 40,000 Rs).

Nothing’s founder, Carl Pei has confirmed that Nothing Phone 1 will feature Snapdragon 778G + SoC. It will feature a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup. The smartphone is said to feature a 6.55-inch OLED display with support for an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Furthermore, the display and rear panel can be protected with Gorilla Glass. The phone is said to run on Android 12 and will feature an LED notification system called the Glyph interface.
