Breeder Timothy Thompson purchased this cat’s Level III winning dam for $1,500 in Keeneland in November 2018 and saw the mare’s value begin to skyrocket as her foal in 2017, a The joy of kittens The pony, named Kameko, won the G1 Vertem Futurity Trophy at the end of 2019. Kameko will go on to add the 2020 G1 QIPCO 2000 Guineas and Mozu Gold Barrel for $190k at KEESEP that fall.
