‘Not even my wife…’: Delhi CM Kejriwal’s dig at LG Saxena | India News

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday tried to shed light on his ongoing argument with lieutenant governor VK Saxena over various issues, saying he was not often berated by his wife like that.
In a tweet in Hindi, Kejriwal added that LG in Delhi has written him more “love letters” over the course of his life in the past six months.

The two have been on uncomfortable terms since Saxena’s appointment, with Kejriwal and his AAP team accusing LG of “excessive interference”. They also accused Saxena of acting on the orders of the BJP-ruled Center to obstruct the operation of the AAP government.
Kejriwal ended his tweet with a piece of advice, advising LG to “chill his spine” and asking his “super boss” to do the same. Although Kejriwal did not name the “super-boss”, it is safe to assume that his targets are those at the top of the central government.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and LG VK Saxena have been troubled on a number of issues, leading to some unfavorable exchanges.
Saxena sought a CBI investigation into the excise tax policy in Delhi in July, after a report by the chief secretary indicated it was likely to lapse in favor of grantees. alcohol permit. He also flagged “abnormalities in the construction of classrooms in Delhi government schools.”
On the other hand, AAP alleged that Saxena, during the presidency of Khadi and Village Industries Corporation, exchanged currency worth Rs 1,400 crore for new currency in 2016 by pressuring employees.
