Nord Stream 1 operator says gas flow from Russia to Europe is being resumed after fears of a complete cut

The operator of Nord Stream 1, a key gas pipeline running from Russia to Germany, said on Thursday it was in the process of resuming flows to Europe.
There have been concerns in Germany and elsewhere that pipeline gas supplies could be stopped altogether after closed earlier this month for maintenance. Flow will be restored on Thursday upon completion of the work.
