The smartwatch trend has changed a bit over the past few years, and now we tend to expect certain features on affordable smartwatches like heart rate monitoring and SpO2, screen high resolution color and the ability to receive notifications from different applications. Noise ColorFit Pro 4 . design and specifications

The Apple Watch series’ popular rectangular dial style is often seen on affordable smartwatches, and the Noise ColorFit Pro 4 has this aesthetic. The smartwatch has a 1.72-inch TFT LCD touch screen, with a resolution of 356×400 pixels and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The screen is quite sharp and detailed, allowing easy reading of text and data on the screen.

Noise ColorFit Pro 4 is available in six color options, so there’s plenty to choose from when it comes to how flashy or different you want your smartwatch to look. My review unit has a silver gray body and a gray 22mm replaceable silicone strap, which I think is quite attractive for the price. There are quite thick bezels around the screen, but if you use watch faces with a black background, you will hardly notice them in everyday use.

On the right side of the Noise ColorFit Pro 4 is a microphone, while the left side has a small speaker grille, both of which are used for Bluetooth calling. There is a single button on the right side, which also rotates to scroll for navigation. The underside of the smartwatch has optical sensors to detect heart rate and blood oxygen levels, and magnetic charger contacts. ColorFit Pro 4 is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.

Included in the sales package is the Noise ColorFit Pro 4 charging cable, some documentation and instructions for use. The smartwatch weighs 24.1g and uses Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity. There’s also an accelerometer that allows a lift-up gesture to wake the screen.

Noise ColorFit Pro 4 . Software and Applications

Like most affordable smartwatches, the software on the Noise ColorFit Pro 4 is basic and focused on the hardware features of the device itself. In addition, the device acts as an notifier, displaying notifications and providing a short preview of text-based alerts from your smartphone. There’s also Bluetooth calling functionality, which makes the ColorFit Pro 4 a Bluetooth microphone and speaker system when paired with your smartphone.

Bluetooth calling is registered as the second Bluetooth device on your smartphone. When paired with this second device, Noise ColorFit Pro 4 can be used to make and receive calls from your smartphone, the same way you would use any Bluetooth audio device. To stop using it, simply disconnect the Bluetooth device from your smartphone if necessary. This does not affect the connection for syncing and notifications, as that device is paired as a separate device and always operates in low power mode.

noise colorfit pro 4 noise app review

The Noise app lets you sync fitness data and change watch faces, along with staying Bluetooth connected for notifications

Interestingly, Noise ColorFit Pro 4 features dynamic watch faces that can interact with each other to open respective apps and view detailed stats. While this feature is common on high-end smartwatches, affordable devices like this often don’t have these types of watch faces, so it’s a useful touch. Unfortunately, there is no always-on mode for the display. Activating the screen requires a lift gesture to wake up or press a button; Touching the screen does nothing while the watch is in standby mode.

Although the widgets and applications displayed depend on the watch face in use, it is generally possible to display the main functions on the Noise ColorFit Pro 4 home screen. My favorite watch faces on the device The device displays steps, heart rate, and battery level, along with buttons to access exercise and activity screens, heart rate details, music remote, and phone dialer.

You can also download and use many other watch faces through the smartphone app, but most of these are static and don’t have the same benefits as dynamic watch faces. The user interface on Noise ColorFit Pro 4 is clean, looks good on the sharp display, and puts most features and functions within easy reach via taps or swipes.

The application list on Noise ColorFit Pro 4 is accessible by pressing the physical button once to open the app drawer. On-device apps include Noise Health, Noise Buzz (a Bluetooth calling app), Clock (including tools like stopwatches, timers, and alarms), weather, stocks, and lights. battery and watch face. No other apps can be installed on the smartwatch, but you can upload the watch face to the device using the NoiseFit app on your smartphone.

Noise ColorFit Pro 4 has pre-installed apps for its core functions, including fitness and Bluetooth calling

The NoiseFit app is available for iOS and Android and acts as the connection controller between the Noise ColorFit Pro 4 and your smartphone. Fitness and health data can be viewed in detail on the app once synced, device settings like notification alerts, automatic heart rate monitoring, weather settings etc. modified and firmware can be updated.

You can also download and sync new watch faces from your gallery or create custom watch faces for your device from the app. The app was well laid out and maintained a steady connection with the Noise ColorFit Pro 4, reliably pushing notifications and syncing data during my time reviewing the smartwatch.

Noise ColorFit Pro 4 . Performance and Battery Life

Like other affordable smartwatches, the Noise ColorFit Pro 4 works best as an accessory and notification kit for your smartphone. What you get with Noise ColorFit Pro 4 is a large, sharp display, the ability to change the watch face according to your mood, and the fact that you can count on it to receive alerts from apps that don’t work. No need to pick up the smartphone.

Of course, there’s also Bluetooth calling, which works well for me under certain conditions. Speakers and microphones are basic, so don’t expect long talk time with the Noise ColorFit Pro 4; that wouldn’t even be very comfortable, since you have to hold the watch close to your face to hear and be heard properly. However, this only works well for short, quick chats, especially when you’re out and about or even while working out and your smartphone isn’t easily accessible.

There are heart rate and SpO2 tracking on Noise ColorFit Pro 4, but they are not very accurate

Fitness and health tracking on Noise ColorFit Pro 4 is largely inaccurate. Step tracking was fairly inaccurate in our 1000-step test, with the ColorFit Pro 4 measuring 1,075 steps when I counted 1,000 manually. Over longer distances, the difference increases to about 85 extra steps per 1,000 when compared to Apple Watch Series 5.

The distance measurements are roughly the same as those of the Apple Watch, but the calorie measurements are quite different for identical workouts with both devices worn simultaneously. There are different types of workouts that can be involved, with options for some pretty unconventional workouts like Kabaddi and Kite Flying, but I’m stuck keeping track of walking workouts with Noise ColorFit Pro 4.

Heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring is accurate when sitting down when compared to a pulse oximeter, but in all positions when on the move, compared to Apple Watch. Sleep tracking is pretty good for the basics. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Noise ColorFit Pro 4 for health and fitness monitoring.

The battery life on the Noise ColorFit Pro 4 is good enough, compared to other smartwatches of the same class and in this price range. The smartwatch runs for about six days on a single charge, with usage including multiple notifications from my smartphone throughout the day, occasional workout tracking, and perhaps a few minutes of use. Bluetooth call function every day.

Identify

For affordable smartwatches, the Noise ColorFit Pro stands out for a few key reasons. First, it offers a good range of features, including a sharp color display, dynamic watch faces, and Bluetooth calling. The second bottom line is that all of this is offered at significantly lower prices than many similarly speculative competitors; at Rs. 3,499, you’re getting a good experience, if not better than many competitors in this segment.

If you’re on a tight budget and want a sleek, feature-packed smartwatch, the Noise ColorFit Pro 4 is worth a look. Keep in mind that fitness tracking isn’t its strong point; buy this for screen, Bluetooth calling and design, above all else.
