Nintendo Switch is now the third best selling console of all time
Nearly six years after its initial launch, the Nintendo Switch is now the third best-selling console of all time. According to Nintendo’s financial results In the previous nine months, ending December 31, 2022, the Switch sold an additional 14.91 million units across the three base models, Lite and OLED.

The next milestone for the Switch is the Nintendo DS line of consoles, which holds second place with 154 million units sold, and the PlayStation 2 has sold 158.7 million units over its lifetime. That number may be hard to reach in 2023, when Nintendo has adjusted its forecast Sales after the holiday season did not meet the company’s expectations.
