Nintendo announces second store in the US, opening in 2025
Nintendo does announced plans to open a second Official Store in the United States.
The company will open a brick-and-mortar store in San Francisco, specifically in iconic Union Square, considered “the city’s dense commercial center.” Currently, the store is scheduled to open in 2025 and more details will be revealed in the future.
Here is the full official statement from Nintendo:
“Nintendo of America today announced plans to open an official store in San Francisco’s iconic Union Square, providing an opportunity for more visitors from near and far to experience the world of Nintendo, its products and staff. its object.
The store, called Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO, will open in 2025 as the second brick-and-mortar location in the US, following the one in New York City.

Surprisingly, this is only the second store the company has opened in the US. The former is famously headquartered in New York City and regularly hosts launch day events for major Nintendo releases. The San Francisco store gives those on the West Coast a chance to check out Nintendo products without having to make a trip to the East Coast.
2025 looks to be a big year for Nintendo, and not just in the video game industry. While the Switch 2 will at least be revealed “in this financial year”Universal Orlando will also receive it Next year will have its own Super Nintendo Worldr. It seemed like the right time to open a new store.
