Nike hunts Lululemon again for patent infringement
Nike (NYSE:NKE) filed a lawsuit against Lululemon Athletica (NASDAQ:LULU) this week based on allegations that at least four sports apparel company’s footwear products infringe their own patents.
lawsuit allegations Nike (NKE) to be harmed by Lululemon(LULU) uses its technology with the sale of Blissfeel, Chargefeel Low, Chargefeel Mid and Strongfeel footwear lines. Nike’s patents cover textiles and other elements, including how footwear will behave when force is applied.
Nike (NKE) and Lululemon (LULU) fought in court. Last year, Nike (NKE) sued Lululemon for patent infringement related to the manufacture and sale of Mirror Home Gym and related mobile applications.
Lululemon (LULU) has not made a statement regarding Nike’s latest challenge.
