Put yourself in another stratosphere of sprinters, a purebred cross of John Fairley’s Breeders’ Cup Highfield Princess (Fr) (Night Of Thunder {Ire}) achieves glory in Friday’s G1 Coolmore Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe S. in York just a dozen days after her tour in the G1 Prix Maurice de Gheest 6 1/2-Furlong. Going back to the scene of her impressive success G2 1895 Duke of York S. On May 11, the 5-1 shot took the ideal lead throughout the early stages from the three-year-old. Platinum Queen (Ire) (Cotai Glory {GB}) before taking the juvenile’s measures away from home. Giving it all to Jason Hart, the John Quinn-trained bay has achieved a straight 2 1/2 length for the longtime leader, with Emaraaty Ana (GB) (Shamardal) regained his form 1 1/2 longer in the third. The success secured Highfield Princess entry into the $1 million Breeders ‘Cup Turf Sprint, with the Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series Nunthorpe section.
