Nicola Bulley: Family of missing dog walker say her ‘children need her home’ and they are ‘stuck in a nightmare’ | UK News


Missing mother-of-two Nicola Bulley’s heartbroken sister and father says her “children need her at home” and describes her as “trapped in a nightmare” since her disappearance.

Miss BulleyThe 45-year-old was last seen on Friday 27 January at around 9:15am on a boardwalk by the River Wyre in the Lancashire village of St Michael’s.

Her sister Louise Cunningham told Sky News: “Honestly, I feel like I’m stuck in a nightmare.

“We’re going around trying to piece together what might be.

“It’s like she just vanished into thin air. We just want her at home, we need her at home, her kids need her at home. It’s really heartbreaking.”

In their first interview since Miss Bulley disappeared on Friday morningHer family has appealed to anyone who may have seen her or know where she is to speak to police.

Her father, Ernie Bulley, 73, told Sky News of the “pain” the “closed family” is feeling.

“This has just emptied our lives at the moment, we just feel so empty,” he said.

“We appreciate all that people are doing to find her. The police have been excellent, the local community has been excellent. But in the end we just want her back.”

He added: “We need the public to look up anything they might have seen. The main thing is that we want to find Nicola and bring her back home.

“There are two kids there waiting for their mother to come back. And if Nicola is out there and she’s watching this – go home, contact the police. We just want you to come back.”

Lancashire Constabulary available today released CCTV images of a potential witness seen in the area At the time Miss Bulley went missing, they wanted to talk.

The woman is pictured walking a small, white dog, wearing a red and white coat with a fur cap, light pants, and a light cap.

A spokesman for the force said: “We insist that the woman is sought as a witness and nothing more. If you believe this is you or you recognize the woman, please contact.”

Daughters think their mummy will walk through the door

Talk about Mrs. Bulley’s two daughtersTheir grandfather told Sky News: “They knew the mummy was missing, but they also knew she was coming home and people were looking for her.

“It was only a matter of time before they thought she was going to walk through that door.”

The family, both from Essex, now live in the north of England to be closer to Mrs Bulley, a mortgage adviser who moved there 25 years ago.

Her sister Louise said: “There must be someone out there who knows something.

“All we’re asking is, big or small, if there’s anything you can remember that doesn’t seem right to contact the police. Contact and get my sister back. again.”

8:50 a.m. (approx.) – A dog walker – who knows Nicola – saw her walking around the lower field with her dog. Their two dogs briefly interacted before the witness left the scene via the riverside path

8:53 – She sent an email to her boss

9:01 a.m. – She’s signed in to a Teams call

9:10 a.m. (approx.) – A witness – someone who knows Nicola – saw her walking her dog Willow in the field above. Work going on today to establish this exact time is

9:30 am – Group call ended but Nicola is still logged in

9:35 a.m. (estimate) – Nicola and Willow’s cell phones are found by another dog walker on a river bench.

Nicola’s cell phone was found on a bench near where she disappeared and was still connected to a conference call when it was discovered.

Her dog, a spaniel named Willow, was found loose between the river and the couch.

She was last seen wearing a long black hooded waistcoat, black jeans, and olive green ankles. Her hair was tied into a ponytail.

Like Inskip and St Michael’s on Wyre, she is also affiliated with the Thornton Cleveys.
