Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will get three new characters over the next few months. Today, players can download X-J9 AKA Jenny from My life as a teenage robot. Hugh Neutron, the duck-loving meme king and father of Jimmy Neutron, is coming this summer. Finally, Rocko’s Rocko’s Modern Life reputation is expected to fall.
The announcement trailer below mainly focuses on Jenny, who can zap opponents with her rocket-powered fist, knock them down with a laser, chop them up with a seesaw, and use other gadgets. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any gameplay footage of Hugh or Rocko, but those will likely emerge as we get closer to each character’s launch date.
Each fighter is labeled as premium DLC, which means they come with a price tag. You can get Jenny, her Tremorton Joyride stage, and her alternate costume for $4.99. A Universe Pack containing all three characters, along with new levels and costumes attached to them, costs $11.99.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Didn’t Blow Us (This Is review), but it’s a respectable platform fighter, and it’s great to see developer Ludosity continue to bolster the roster with fan-favorite characters. One has to wonder if these are the only new faces to grace the game in 2022 given the gap between them and what characters will be added in 2023, if any.
