NIA conducting searches at premises of people involved in terror-related activities: Official | India News
NEW DELHI: National Investigation Agency on Thursday morning launched a large-scale nationwide search operation against groups, including PFIand individuals accused of supporting terrorism, officials said.
In “the largest investigation ever”, searches are taking place at basis they said those accused were involved in financing terrorism, organizing training camps and calling extremists to join banned organisations.
“Raids are taking place at the homes of national, state, and local leaders of the PFI. The state commissioner’s office is also being raided.
“We strongly oppose the fascist regime’s move to use agencies to silence dissenting voices,” the outfit said in a statement.
