New York Claiming Championship Series Return on Saturday
The New York Claiming Championship series returns for a seventh year on Saturday at the Aqueduct Raceway with 10 starters worth $620,000.
The New York Claims Championship for horses has begun at the specified ask price in 2021-22. The 10-race series, each named after some of the most beloved horses to run at Big A, ranges from six hairs to 1 3/8 miles. A total of 93 horses were involved in 10 races.
Robert Falcone, Jr. will offer four starters on the lucrative card.
“Days like these are important,” Falcone, Jr. speak. “The required rank and the allowance horses make up the race cards day in and day out. It’s good to have a day spent with them. All of them are really nice horses, but not every horse can be a million dollar horse. It’s great that they get a shot to run on an initial bet. These are the types of horses that make up the cards every day. ”
