New Windows 11 update preview promises major bug fixes and mediocre Bing Chat integration
Microsoft dropped a new one 11 . window Update for those who have subscribed to the Release Preview channel, adding a few important features that were available in the Beta channels until now. The most notable change to expect: faster access to the updated Bing chat. The update is detailed in a Windows official blog post.
The last update we had in February added a button in the search panel that took you to Microsoft Edge so you could use Bing. So… not exactly direct integration. Based on XDAIn an upcoming update, Microsoft is supposed to give us better integration (if you have Bing preview access) by placing a button in the search bar right inside the taskbar.
So in other words, you’re still taken to Microsoft Edge to use Bing, but the button is a little easier to find.

Besides that, there are a few more interesting changes. Users can see notifications related to their Microsoft account in the start menu, and the taskbar will appear lighter when you set Windows to custom color mode.
As we expected, more than a dozen fixes and improvements will be made to ensure Your PC is much more stable. This includes fixes for programs like Notepad, Microsoft Powerpoint, and Windows Search.
If you’re already part of the Release Preview channel, you can get the update through Windows Update or wait for it to install automatically (not too far). We expect the full update to be out by the end of this month or early next month, but if you can’t wait, you can try it out. join the Windows Insider program.
