The Innova Crysta is now available with a single diesel engine option and no automatic transmission.

Toyota recently introduce again Innova Crysta with a minor upgrade in the Indian market. Pre-orders for the popular MPV are already underway for Rs 50,000, but Toyota has yet to announce its pricing. As we have previously reported, the new Crysta will be sold alongside a more premium version Innova Hycross.
The Innova Crysta 2023 looks very similar to its predecessor, except for the updated front fascia, a slightly smaller and more prominent front grille and redesigned fog lamp housings.
The new Innova Crysta only comes with a 2.4-liter diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. No petrol engine or automatic transmission options. The Innova Crysta 2023 is available in four versions – G, GX, VX and the top-end ZX. All versions, with the exception of the most advanced, are available in 7- or 8-seater layouts.

Innova Crysta diesel: expected price
The Toyota Innova Crysta diesel is expected to start at around Rs 20 lakh (former showroom), with the top-end Innova Crysta ZX going for around Rs 27 lakh. For comparison, the Innova Hycross hybrid lineup starts at Rs 24.01 lakh for the VX variant, going up to Rs 28.97 lakh for the top-end Innova Hycross ZX(O). Although the updated Innova Crysta has no direct rival, it sees competition from tata safari And Mahindra XUV700.
