November is almost over and 2022 is not far away. Another thing to be grateful for before the year is completely behind us? HBO Max will bring more quality content to the platform over the last few weeks of this year. Check out everything coming to HBO Max in December below, along with some of our recommendations.
Doom Patrol, the series based on DC Comics’ superhero team of the same name, was renewed for Season 4 around this time last year. It’s finally coming back, starting December 8. According to a release, a synopsis for the upcoming series reads: “[Season 4] opens with the team suddenly traveling to the future to find an unexpected surprise. Faced with impending death, the Doom Patrol must decide once and for all what is more important: their own happiness or the fate of the world? Our review of Part 1.
The Banshees Of Inisherin moves from theaters to HBO Max on December 13. The black comedy reunites In Bruges writer and director Martin McDonagh, alongside Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson. Banshees takes place on a fictional small Irish island in 1923 during the Irish Civil War – but more interested in Farrell and Gleeson’s friendship cooled after Gleeson’s character decided he would one day end his life. friends with Farrell’s character. It doesn’t sound like much of a plot, but this is a great satire film that comes up with lots of surprises.
On December 1, a whole bunch of Hellraiser movies from across the series will premiere on HBO Max. Count ’em, a total of six: Hellraiser III Hell on Earth in 1992, Hellraiser IV: Bloodline in 1996, Hellraiser V: Inferno in 2000, Hellraiser in 2002: Hellseeker, Hellraiser VII: Deader in 2005 and Hellraiser: Hellworld in 2005. while this isn’t the entire franchise – the notable omission is the 1987 movie that started it all, 2011’s Hellraiser: Revelations and 2018’s Hellraiser: Judgment – but it’s a great way to see the series famous bloody movie famous in one go. . (Of course, Hulu remains the exclusive streamer for This year’s new reboot.)
