New Honda Amaze launch schedule, expected price, platform, powertrain
The all-new Amaze will replace the current-generation sedan that went on sale back in 2018.
Honda’s motobike ready for a brand new third generation surprised for a global launch next year. The current Amaze has been on the market for almost five years and only received one slight update mid-life in 2021. According to sources, the next-generation Amaze will be based on the evolution of the current sedan’s platform.

New Honda Amaze: platform
Honda has new midsize SUV development for India will be underpinned by an updated version of the existing Amaze platform. The platform will likely also be used on the next-generation Amaze compact car; although, unlike before, it will continue to be under 4 meters in length.
In terms of design, the next-generation Amaze will likely adopt the same exterior design as Honda’s newer sedans like The latest generation city and even new agreement sold abroad. In fact, the design of the second generation Amaze was also inspired by the Accord of the time, and the same approach is likely to be applied to the third generation model. It will also give the Amaze a similarity to the rest of the automaker’s sedan lineup.
On the inside, expect the new Amaze to get a new interior layout, possibly with the standalone touchscreen setup seen on the new Accord and HR-V SUV. It is likely to share interior components with other Honda models in India.
Honda Amaze 2024: powertrain options
For the third-generation Amaze, Honda is expected to use the naturally aspirated, 4-cylinder, 1.2-litre petrol engine from the current model. This engine produces 90 hp and 110 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.
However, unlike the current Amaze, the next-generation model will not be equipped with a diesel engine. The The 1.5 liter diesel engine has been discontinued on the front Amaze of RDE norms effective from April 2023. In fact, Honda will soon Stop producing diesel engines completely in India.
Honda has also previously supplied a factory-fitted CNG kit to the Amaze, although it remains to be seen whether the same will be offered with the next-generation vehicle.
Honda Amaze 2024: launch schedule and competitors
The next generation Honda Amaze is likely to launch in the second half of 2024. When launched, the new Amaze will continue to compete with recent new models. Aura Hyundai and tata tigoras Maruti Dzirealso due to a full model change in 2024.
