Speaking to ETimes, their mother Avani Vora said, “Neither of them have taken any tuition so far.”

“COVID is the biggest distraction, not being able to go to school, the biggest cause of frustration, but they stay focused on their goals,” their mother said. Anushka and Astha are among thousands of students who have studied online during 2020-2021. Physical classes resumed in schools and colleges in late 2021 and early 2022.

The excited mother says that both her daughters are very active in sports and movement along with their studies and have never missed a day playing ball with their friends. They are now part of the Royal Rangers football club, and look forward to playing for the state team.

Regarding their learning pattern, their mother says, they have a balanced approach. It’s not just about the studies. They love to play and read books. While Anushka was the chief editor of the Teen Tribune, Astha was selected to the Harvard Business School Law program and did well.

Regarding the sibling equation, the mother proudly says, “although they criticize each other, they are constant companions in studies, sports, art, and friendship.”

Passionate about science, Anushka and Astha aspire to be in 12th grade.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results of 10th and 12th grade on July 24. A total of 2,093,978 students took the 10th grade exam, of which 1,976,668 students took the exam. passed, raising the overall pass rate to 94.4%. Girls do 1.41% better than boys.

Overall pass rates have fallen relative to performance on these exams during the pandemic. Last year, 99.04% of students passed the exam.
