“Never flirt with the big guys”
Via Sam Volz: Tyson Fury says he’s not surprised what happened to an aggressive man earlier this week when former British heavyweight champion Julius Francis knocked him down on Monday at Boxpark Wembley.
In a viral video clip, 57-year-old Francis, now a security guard, is forced to deal with an unruly person attacking people in a crowd.
When the man angrily approached Francis, he used his right hand to forcefully hit him, knocking him unconscious. One of the crowd immediately said, ‘No need.‘However, Francis acted in self-defence as the angry person raised his arms close to him, leaving him with no choice but to react the way he did.
“I watched the video, great right arm. What do you expect? These guys were doing their job, he was attacking, so he got his chin. It’s a life lesson. Never be cocky with big men because you might end up with a crooked chin,” Fury tells him. Piers Uncensored.
The durag man chose the wrong person to step onto Boxpark Wembley and learned a hard lesson.
Francis’ one-punch knockdown was far more impressive than Fury’s recent WBC heavyweight champ’s knock-out against challenger Dillian Whyte on April 23 at Wembley Stadium in London. Fury shoved Whyte into the frame in the sixth installment.
It will be interesting to see if Julius Francis can use this incident to get a well-paid exhibition match against Mike Tyson. Given the publicity Francis received via viral video this week, this would be the perfect time for Tyson to arrange an exhibit.
If they set up the fight in a hurry while Francis is still getting the attention of the boxing world, it will be a match that attracts a lot of interested fans to watch.
Francis fought Tyson in January 2000 and was knocked out in two rounds by the famous American star.
However, the 55-year-old Tyson may not have to face a big puncher like Francis, because if he didn’t knock him down as quickly as he did in 2000, he could quickly exhale and be stopped.
In November 2020, Tyson fought 51-year-old Roy Jones Jr in an eight-round exhibition match.
No boxer seems to put everything into their shots, and that was a huge disappointment for many who chose to watch it. Many believed that if Tyson fought hard enough, he would knock Jones out in two or three rounds.
