Netflix’s The Sandman Finally Confirmed For Season 2
Netflix has finally confirmed that The Sandman from Neil Gaiman will be returning for a second season. In a social media post, the streamer said that “The Sandman is coming back to Netflix.”
Gaiman was quoted in Netflix’s announcement as saying, “There are some incredible stories waiting for Morpheus and the rest of them… Now it’s time to get back to work. Have a meal. family is ahead… And Lucifer is waiting for Morpheus to return to the Underworld.”

In his own tweetsGaiman said, “The rumor is true. Netflix is glad that so many of you watched Sandman, and what we all hoped would happen … actually happened…”
The Sandman premieres in August and is watched 69.5 million hours in the first three days. Confirmation of Part 2 came shortly after DC Comics tweeted about a new episode and then deleted that tweet.
There’s no word yet on when The Sandman Season 2 will premiere or any other details on a second season, but keep checking back with GameSpot for more.
The Sandman stars Tom Sturridge as Morpheus. The show is based on Gaiman’s DC Comics comic book series. Gaiman is also known for Coraline, American Gods and Good Omens, among others.
