Netflix has rolled out a new feature that allows you to remove anyone from your account, such as an ex, family member, or anyone else. Netflix said in announcement post that this feature is designed with holidays in mind, when people may travel.
While on vacation or visiting friends and family, subscribers may forget to sign out of their Netflix account when they leave. With the new Device and access management feature, user can view recently connected devices and log out of them with just one click.
This feature is available from within Account Settings, and it’s available worldwide on the web, as well as iOS and Android.
“With the busy holiday season approaching, many of our members will be traveling and watching Netflix wherever they travel to see family and friends. Sign in to your account while you’re there. your hotel or even your friends’ house is easy and intuitive, but sometimes people forget to sign out,” says Netflix.
As IGN reminds us, this will be a great solution not only for travel but also in awkward situations after a breakup. Removing your ex–or anyone else–from your Netflix plan is now easier than ever.
Netflix recently launched a free ad-based subscription tier that lacks content and features. The Basic with Ads membership option costs $7/month.
