Nest Romps in CCA Oaks

GI American Oaks Coaching Club is considered a rematch after GI Kentucky Oaks Secret Oaks winner (Arrogate) and runner-up Nest (f, 3, Curlin–Marion Ravenwood, of AP Indy), but Nest went against her own gender after finishing second in GI Belmont S. – who went home with the most winners. Nest took the early lead, but gave its advantage to a Rank Board (Gunman) who bullied her in a way that was ahead on the backseat. Nest briefly regained control, but Secret Oath managed to take control as the first half continued: 47.46. Undeterred, Nest returned to the lead and easily eliminated the Secret Vow in the top lane before powering the bottom lane to win by more than 10 lengths. Secret Oath came in second.
