Nene Leakes Thanks Everyone For Their Prayers As She Provides An Update On The Status Of Brentt Leakes
News had previously broken out that Nene Leakes’ son Brentt Leakesunfortunately suffered a heart attack and stroke at the age of 23. It is shared that he has left the hospital and is currently in rehab as he recovers.
After the unfortunate news started to roll in, Nene took to her Instagram story to thank everyone for their prayers, as well as share a few details about what happened and just like how Brentt is doing now.
While sitting in her car, Nene speak,
“Two weeks ago today Brentt had congestive heart failure and a stroke. He’s only 23 years old, so he’s really young for something like that to happen to him. The first thing that many doctors think about when someone of that age has a condition is that maybe they’ve been on drugs or maybe have a serious infection, be it HIV or some kind of infection. what I was told by the doctors. . “
Nene admits that Brentt doesn’t drink or be addicted to drugs, and says doctors have tested him for those things as well as HIV. She shared that doctors also thought COVID-19 could be the cause of his condition, but she and Brentt did not say he had the virus. However, doctors aren’t entirely sure what the cause might be.
Nene also mentioned her living room, which she also owns with her son Brentt. She shared that there is a possibility that they sell lounges.
The Lounge is a business venture she entered into with Brentt, her late husband Gregg, and some of her friends. Running the lounge is a responsibility Brentt takes on, but after his health fears, he can’t do it at the moment. Like before TMZ shared that Brentt was rushed to a local hospital in the Atlanta area earlier this month to receive treatment for both a heart attack and a stroke. He was hospitalized for a few days before entering rehab to recover.
As many people know, Brentt is Nene’s son with her late husband Gregg Leakes. Gregg, unfortunately, passed away last August after a battle with cancer.
