Zach LaVine hit 11 of 13 shots from 3-point territory and scored 41 to lift the Chicago Bulls past Philadelphia 76ers 126-112 hosts on Friday.

This is the third time LaVine has done at least 10 times in a match in his career.

Nikola Vucevic added 19 points, 18 rebounds and 10 assists while Patrick Williams contributed 18 points. DeMar DeRozan also had 12 shots for the Bulls, who shot 20/34 3-pointers overall.

Tyrese Maxey leads the Sixers with 26 points and Tobias Harris with 22 points and 11 rebounds. James Harden only shot 4/17 but added 17 points, 11 assists and 7 rebounds.

Montrezl Harrell scored 17 and Georges Niang had 12, but the Sixers cut their 11-game winning streak at home.

The Sixers played without Joel Embiid for the second straight game because of a sore left foot.

The Bulls recovered from a 13-point deficit early and took a 59-55 advantage after half-time thanks largely to 14 points and 12 rebounds from Vucevic. Maxey leads the Sixers with 13 shots 5/8.

Harris drove to the basket and hit a short runner in the lane to lead the Sixers 48-41 with 4:56 remaining in the second half. Vucevic responded by playing three points in Chicago’s next possession.

When DeRozan finished the three-point run with 2:51 remaining, the game was tied at 50.

Vucevic and LaVine hit three points in a row, Williams hit a dunk and the Bulls took the lead 77-69 with 6:37 left in the third round.

The Bulls widened the gap to 18, but Niang’s whistle cut reduced the deficit to 99-84 late in the third inning.

Harden continued to have difficulty with his shooting, missing 12 of 14 attempts in 3/4.

Philadelphia tightened defense in the 104-94 round when Niang hit a 3-pointer with a score of 9:28.

The Sixers cut the deficit to eight, 110-102, thanks to a hit from Harris. DeRozan knocked out a tough jumper in the Bulls’ next possession.

LaVine’s 10th game put the Bulls ahead 121-108 with 1:53 left.
