NBA: Warriors’ Steph Curry out ‘multiple weeks’ with leg injury

The Golden State Warriors said Sunday that superstar Stephen Curry suffered a partial ligament tear and injury to his left leg and will be absent through injury.
Curry will be absent from Monday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder and possibly longer, with “additional clarity on a potential timeline” in the coming days, according to the team.
The Athletic and ESPN report that Curry will be sidelined for “weeks” through injury, at least through the All-Star break.
He had an injury with about two minutes left in the third round of Saturday night’s 119-113 win over the Dallas Mavericks. His left knee collided with the knee of Mavericks guard McKinley Wright while Curry was playing defensively.
Curry ended the game, limping into the dressing room with the assist and not turning around, finishing with the top 21 of the team.
