A day after Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green apologized to the team for punching teammate Jordan Poole during practice, a video of the incident was leaked.

On Friday, TMZ distributed video showing Green standing on the flanks while play was stopped, while Poole was at the bottom line. Green walked over to Poole and stabbed him in the chest before Poole shoved Green. At that point, Green performed a swing with his right hand before both players went to the ground behind the basket while the staff moved to bid farewell to the exams.

green expressed his grief for the incident Thursday and then left the facility when the defending NBA Warriors champion practiced without him.

“Everybody’s going to be fine. Jordan trained today. Draymond didn’t,” Golden State general manager Bob Myers told reporters Thursday. “Look, it’s the NBA. Pro sports. This happened. No one liked it, we don’t mourn it, but it happened.

“Draymond apologized to the team this morning. Jordan was there in the room, I was in the room, the team, the coach, the players. And we heard that.”

Still have to decide how Green will be disciplined for the incident. Myers says he doesn’t think the penalty will include missing out on any games.

“For any suspension, sanctions, fines, we will handle it internally,” Myers said. “I understand you may have questions about that, but that will be an internal process.”

Warriors coach Steve Kerr said he expects Green to return to the team on Saturday. The club was off Friday, but ESPN reports that the team is working to find the source of the video using “every legal course of action.”

Kerr said there was high energy during Thursday’s workout.

“There’s a great vibe,” Kerr said. “We had a hellish prison. You have bumps in the road and you deal with it. “

The incident between Green and Poole happened during Wednesday’s training session.

Green, 32, a four-time All-Star, is entering his 11th season in the league, all with the Warriors. He made seven All-Defense picks with a career average of 8.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.4 assists.

Poole, 23, is entering his fourth season after the Warriors picked him 28 overall in the 2019 draft. He was explosive last season, averaging 18.5 points/game in 76 competition (51 starts).
